Syrena Williams is the Director of Empowering Entrepreneurs, Inc. and has received her Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University. She is an active member of her native city, Durham, North Carolina.
With over ten years of employee relation experience, Ms. Williams has served as a Human Resources Director for several companies while implementing employee trainings and facilitating employee conflict resolution meetings. Ms. Williams is a certified mediator and has extensive expertise in assisting organizations with identifying and recognizing the cause of issues, followed by seamless implementation of new strategies and techniques that support the company’s mission and shareholder’s interests. She ensures that follow-up coaching is available to ensure that the systems are still in place and are of proven value to the company. As a legal advocate, she ensures that her clients are knowledgeable of all available options and that they are educated in what the outcome of each decision would mean before making a final call.
Ms. Williams’ keen interest in helping her community develop and grow has driven her to design and facilitate skill enhancement workshops and do-it-yourself law clinics. These events are attended by small business owners, employees of various size companies and persons seeking growth and knowledge. She believes that educating people in the process is the key to success.
